I had trouble getting an external drive to be recognized which I now seem to have done. Although it is now seen I cannot write to it.

It shows in "This PC" as drive R which I named it.

It shows in "Device Manager as mass storage device and working properly.

It shows in "Disk Management" as Healthy (logical drive)

    Using Win 10.

    Can anyone help please

Could it be a permissions problem? Maybe you have read permissions only?

Everything is enabled apart from "Full control" which gives me "Access Denied" if I try it.

Good to hear :) I hate it when Windows doesn't give you permissions over your own drives...
