Scan more like Scam

I wrote a thread yesterday about feeling scammed by Scan , i notice this thread was not allowed on here. So Bit Tech pick and choose what they feel right to be seen by public. Disappointed as thread is very much relivent to things. I bought a motherboard bundle from Scan and when pacakge arived i found only a heat sink in processor box. Scan being Scan claim it impossible there end to make mistake, Seem 4 + people check and double check packaging. Yet it known fact humans make mistakes fromn time to time. yet they will not comprehend this.

If you worded your post in a more reasonable manner you would probably get a better response.

Also, you are new around here, so this is especially important. Imagine being at a party, then someone nobody knows bursts through the front door and starts mouthing off. Doesn't go down too well does it.

Welcome to the community, start as you mean to go on I guess.

Never saw the thread but look at it from their POV, you could be scamming them just like you're accusing them, civil communication would help things along.

I do hope Scan look into this properly for you though, like you say, humans make mistakes.

I can see your original thread directly below this one. I suspect that what's happened is that your original post was your first on these forums and that as a result it went into the moderation queue, so took a day or so to appear.

So no-one is trying to suppress your opinions or concerns, as far as I can see...

Anyway, welcome to the forums and I hope you get your situation resolved to your satisfaction. I should say that in the past I've received items from Scan in packaging that wasn't sealed and when I queried this was told that Scan sometimes open boxes to check the contents or record serial numbers. That was a good few years back, mind.

@OP - we're all very busy IRL at the moment. It's not about censorship, it's about time.
