    Hey
    I use to use rapidshare and it was excellent. However I have just seen there new site and no idea what the points system is all about. Checked my old rapidshare link websites to find them all full of rubbish.

    What do you use for downloads ?
    Is rapidshare dead ? Heard quite afew users left after new points system.

    Most people use fileserve instead now. Like you say, rapidshare changed things and people left them in their droves. hotfile is quite popular too I think.

    did anyone say anything about piracy? no... file hosting websites are completely legal and legit, its up to the users what they upload to it to abuse the service's.

    Sorry if I upset anyone with this thread but I found rapidshare through a mate who I don't have any contact with anymore.

    Fileserve or hotfile ? As I'm going to sign up asap.

    Any good links website for them?

    If you mean warez linksites..... don't bother asking here, it will not get you anywhere.

    I use hotfile set up with jDownloader and FlashGot in firefox when I use it.

    Free users on Fileserve, Filesonic, Megaupload with certain isps get a load of grief due to the IWF server being seen as their ip.
