Hi. This is my first post, so be gentle!
I have been folding on my gaming rig for about five weeks with two 7970s which were linked in Crossfire. Yesterday, I upgraded one 7970 to an R290X and as you may know, these new AMD cards do not have a Crossfire bridge. Now, I understand that Crossfire is irrelevant regarding folding, as the GPUs work independently. My problem is the new R290X is working at its full clock speeds, but my older 7970 is only working at about half its clock speeds, i.e. 525MHz core and 685MHz memory. When I use the Catalyst Control Centre, I now only have control over the 290X and therefore cannot attempt to change the clocks on the 7970. It seems the 7970 will not shift up into High Performance Mode.
    Any ideas please?

    Hi Scorpuk,

Thanks for the tip. Downloaded Afterburner and all is well now. Many thanks.
