Need advice on a new GPU, as I've just bought a system pretty powerful for what I need currently but I would like some powerful graphics again when I start gaming which will be in a month or two.

    Current system:
    - Windows 8.1.
    - AMD FX-8320.
    - 8GBS Corsair Vengance 1333mhz.
    - ASUS M5A97 R2.0.
    - CX500 PSU.
    - 240 SSD.
    - 1TB storage

Looking for a breakdown of mid range cards enough to play modern games around med-high. Have a budget of around £150, looking for either nVidia or AMD no fuss either way. Had a good run with my previous gtx 460.

Are you keen for new only, or would you consider used?

    Around £100 - R9 265 (HD7850 rebadge)
    Around £130-140 - R9 270x (HD7870 rebadge)
    Around £150-170 - GTX760

Nothing else in the price brackets (new) is really worth looking at.

Used you would be looking at the GTX670/ HD7950 for around £140.

If new I would for go for the GTX 760.
