Star Trek Elite Force I & II were a blast to play, not in the realm of majorly-awesome games but I liked them on PC at the time. Especially the parts where they let you free-roam around the voyager for a bit.

I enjoyed the Armada games but overall Star Trek are typically pretty bad, which is a shame...

A friend and I still play the occasional game of Birth of the Federation. Some of the mods for it are quite fun too.

Can you play as single player?
I know coop is all the rage (at least 4 though) but realistically, getting someone who has time and is willing when I have time is probably not going to happen (so much for L4D)

There's no way that's based on JJ's universe, where's all the lens flare?!

Sounds like it might be a decent game actually, although I'd have to stay out of engineering to avoid the stupidity of Pegg as Scottie.

I'll wait for the review but looks like it'll be a steam sale "oh I forgot about this" game in a few years.

What they should have done was make an epic point and click/rpg adventure game, in the true spirit of the actual series, **** them money grabbing *****.

I loved Klingon Academy and Armada II. Especially with mods.
It's worth mentioning that if you pre order this at GAME you get a free cinema ticket for the film
