Lol@ hats. But who am I to talk? I have an unusual. This could be an interesting move, if it turns out to be better than the W8 app store on release I'm going with Steam.
I'm hoping the missing word here is 'hat'; I don't wish to know about anything else you might have which is unusual I'd go with Stream for a lot of stuff if this happens. It's time proven and works nicely.
I'd buy non-game software from Steam, as long as it's cheap! I don't see anything wrong with it. The Apple App Store is amazing, I'd be lost without it. Well ok, not lost... but I would be carrying around a pretty useless, generic phone if I wasn't able to so easily buy the 300+ apps that I have for it! A Windows version of that would be absolutely fine by me Incidentally, the fact that I have 300+ iPhone apps is also the reason why I won't be moving to Android. It has nothing to do with Android or the hardware it's run on, it's just not economical for me to move over now. If I hadn't spent so much on iPhone apps, I would be seriously considering it, but in my case, Apple really did just get there first.
