I played the original Conan MMO which was unique and pretty well developed and had some great ideas, but the PvP was hard due to the combat system giving some classes inherent advantages. So I'd be willing to give this a go as I like the world but hope that I can see some gameplay and get some details first.
I played Age of Conan on release day on my Overclocked Opteron 146 system and it ran terribly. I immediately drove to Overlockers (literally, the same day) and bought a new Intel Q6600 set up, built it, reinstalled everything and played Conan with shiny settings. Turns out the game wasn't that great.
picked this up today, looks like it's got a lot in common with ARK, which i enjoyed, and i love Conan. Bring on 'the lamentation of the women'...
nope, sticking my own up when i get it sorted. poor documentation, but i believe it's UE4, which helps a little, and i ran an ARK server for a while before so it should be manageable.
Careful with clan invites, if someone invites you, then kicks you or you leave... they get your base.
noted. May just give it a try in co-op with the server password protected. Got the server running, had a brief scamper about, built a wee 2x2 hut. All good so far.
