Graphics 4K via HDMI on a R9 280X?..

    Just quick question!.. I've been looking everywhere on google and can't find specifics to the above question!?.

    Can my R9 280X or any R9 series GPU for that matter output 4K on the HDMI port?.. If it does, is it limited to 30Hz?.. If that is the case then I should be okay going with that BUSH 4K TV and use it as a secondary video player for YouTube and other streaming media and maybe possibly some 1080p gaming on the XBOX 360 & PS3... :p

    Does it have HDMI 1.4? If so, should be fine with an appropriate cable.

    That's the thing I can't find specs for the HDMI on my GPU anywhere or any R9 series!.. I must be looking in the wrong searches... :p

    I'm guessing since VTX3D only list that 280x that it's your card? If so scroll down a bit and it does say 4K support on HDMI :)

    I got a R9 290 and it supports 4K display on HDMI, I'm running a 1440p display on it right now.
