ok so i decided run 3dmark vantage on my lappy, initially wouldn't work due to my screen res of 1600x900 so i connected to my samsung tv to allow for compatible screen res to be used. forgot to turn off ppu, so my score is invalid, but this is the score :- P2670 thoughts, scores of others lappies ps cant run 3d mark 11 due to dx11 requirement
What graphics? 3Dmark Vantage is mostly GPU dependant, I saw hardly any difference in scores when updating from an Athlon64 x2 @3000Mhz to my i5 750 @3800Mhz, only the CPU based scores improved. 3D06 on the other hand still provides a significant improvement at 3800 when compared to stock.
geforce GT 240M, its an mxm 3.0 type a, so in theory if i can find a better card i can change it. theres other stuff in the way so a type b won't fit ps click my score, it gives more details
