    Hello all.
I have a server running WHS 2011 that has two raid arrays that house my vitals.

One of the arrays houses my music store which I then stream from my main pc and a media pc.

Whenever I play music over the network it lags out, every 30 secs or whatever it stops then starts.

If I move the folder and stream off another PC it stops, so I think the problem is the server.

    However everything looks fine?

    Any ideas?

Are you using homeplugs, WiFi or cat5 to connect to the server Mr. B?

Straight cat 5 through a Virgin superhub.

Think I got to the bottom of it, had a process that would max out the Celeron from time to time but I had to be logged in to see it as I streamed media.

Think I tracked down the service and associated program but was about 1 am when I did it so cant exactly remember which it was.

Nice one. While you're at it check your cat5 cable, I've seen frayed/chewed cable cause similar symptoms.
