    I'm not very savvy when it comes to this stuff but what is this exactly ? I am intrigued by it, but I am no professional.

    Personally, I use BT5, as I started out "penetration testing" way back with BT3 beta on a virtual machine. I'd never even heard of Blackbuntu before now, is it as easy to use, with all the necessary tools included?

    bt5 kde on usb (persistent install) is pretty good

    bt4 r2 has much better hacked drivers for my wireless chipset- so you have to put those in along with pretty much everything else you had to put into bt4 to get it all working correctly.. I haven't messed with blackbuntu- but it's supposed to be newbie friendly

    there was a discussion on the bt forums awhile back.. it was generally looked down upon- but looking down on people is what they do best on that forum xD

    I don't know though.. if you ask what pentesters use it's always bt or some other flavor of ubuntu
