Hi, does anybody have any experience trying to install Fallout 3 on a Windows 10 machine? I've got the DVD GOTY edition, but am unable to install it as a SecuRom error "unable to authenticate original disc within time limit" pops up after a couple of minutes of the disc spinning up. I don't have any drive emulators installed, and can't find many other suggestions. Any ideas? Cheers.
I believe Microsoft killed securom in windows 10. So you can't play it. You may find a work around though
Can the key be added in Steam? Failing that, contact Bethesda support and see if they can provide a Steam key. I've done this before with Sega when they bought the Dawn of War rights, they sent me a new key for Dark Crusade.
