For a while now I have been weaning myself off Internet Explorer because it seemed to take much joy in flinging up error messages and crashing whenever it felt like it. I have moved to Chrome but find this is utter crap too with the silly'Oops something went wrong' or some such error message that I see all to often. And the way it handles bookmarks is just convoluted and bizarre, IE does it so much better.

So need to find something else which is hopefully more stable, I have yet to try Firefox and I suspect I am going to be limited as any browser must work with the Roboform extension.

    Firefox? :p

Been using it since it was version 1.5. Works great and doesn't crash on me.
But wife's FF sometimes does strange things, like occasionally UI become all white unless move mouse over it.

So your experience may vary, good luck :)

I'd 100% use Firefox if I didn't like Chrome so much.

They still haven't fixed that memory leak in Firefox - I tried it again recently and lasted about two weeks. IE is just crap.

To be honest, I really don't like Chrome all that much, but it's probably the least infuriating of the three - not exactly high praise though.

Of course, there other options, but most aren't well supported and create havoc on some pages.

Love the music. But Roboform does not work with it.

Used to use Opera, currently trying Vivaldi which I'm liking.

You can use chrome/opera extensions with Vivaldi so if Roboform works with Chrome I would have thought it should be able to work with Vivaldi.

    Safari? :p

But basically your options are -

    IE/Edge [which you don't like]...
    Chrome/ium [which you don't like]...
Firefox [which will probably do your head in as badly as Chrome did],
    Opera [???]
Vivaldi [Opera for people who don't like Opera]...

IE: I do like but it has become very unstable.
    Edge: Who likes Edge?
    Firefox: We'll see.
    Opera: Forgot about that one.
Vivaldi: Will give it a try.

I've been using Pale Moon for the last couple of months. It's based on Firefox before they went all arrogant and decided to do it their way and not take any notice of user requests.

Tried FF, tried chrome and generally use IE.

IE causes me way less problems than the other 2.

I use Edge solely for watching streamed content, lowest CPU/Memory usage of all the major browsers. Chrome is fat and slow these days and Firefox isn't much better.

That said, I still use Chrome for everything else.

If I could link a Google account (for synced passwords) to Edge I would exclusively use it. Does the job, Generally quicker than the others and is light on resources.

If Microsoft allow Roboform extension I would be using Edge a lot more. For now, I'm using Chrome as a primary browser.

Chrome annoys me a bit with their crashes.
