Windows Huge Win 7 Updates 1st August

    2 of my PCs have just popped up with 70 and 119 updates required, having not shown any since May.
    One last night and the other at work this morning when I booted it.
    Is this linked to the Win 10 upgrade and the deadline being passed? Seems quite a coincidence.
    Anyone else experienced this? I use the 'notify me' option for updates.

    Windows update for Windows 7 has been a total pig for several months now - what a shock that it suddenly starts spewing out updates as soon as the Win10 deadline passes!

    Might be worth installing the convenience update first, technically SP2
