I recently bought this kit from scan, as in the title, and it's arriving tomorrow. I just wanted some minor advice as I'm a novice of what my first actions should be for when it arrives. e.g) set up and do this...then this... etc.... etc.... Also What order would the components go in... e.g) radiator, reservoir.... etc..

Here is the kit..and I'm fitting it on a LGA1156:

Cheers..Also this is my first forum post :)

    Welcome to Bit-Tech!

Check this Bit-tech guide: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cooling/2007/08/22/watercooling_101/1 shoudl have lots of answers for the novice (It helped me).

You did some digging before purchasing so I wonder if you discounted the H70 over your kit and why? Or to put another way, what's the advantage of your kit over the prebuilt Corsair that people seem to talk a lot about on these forums? I ask because I am speccing a build, and water cooling has always intrigued.

Hi, I picked the watercooling kit over the corsair ALC's as it is a lot quieter at full load and I can add other radiators to the kit and a bigger pump and reservoir to allow GPU and maybe NORTH and SOUTH BRIDGE cooling! Also I have noticed on some review websites like "HEXUS.NET" that the H70 and H50 are over 30 decibels on full load whereas the watercooling kit posted above runs under 20 decibels, and will cool my cpu at the moment to a better degree allowing me to overclock my i5 750 to around 4 GHZ! :thumb:

Hey again guys, as this was my first watercooled pc, I spent 5 hours looking for another screw and 2 hours trying to get some distilled water! I'm just about to test it, but hard wire my PSU and test it in a cardboard box so if any leaks occur, it will not damage my computer, I will post an update later to tell you all how it's going! YEY well 'appy :)

If you have not bought any distilled water yet for the coolant concentrate get the 5Ltr bottle of deionised water from Halfords at around £5:thumb:

I'd leave it to leak test over night personally, when I tested mine I did it for 2 days, just to be sure :)

OK, your word has been took into observation and I think I might put it on to do another leak test in the morning for about 5-6 hours, which in total would be 9 hours, Although I have been shaking the circuit like mad! Giving it some hammer...Joke, And I am extremely confident about it not ****ing up my system..If it does, then it's my fault!

Yes, Although in the near future, I may decide to cool my GPU when I get a new one, and add a new radiator.

My i5 750 is at 3 GHZ running idle:

    CORE 0: 22 Degrees Celsius
    CORE 1: 22 Degrees Celsius
    CORE 2: 22 Degrees Celsius
    CORE 3: 22 Degrees Celsius

Compared to about 45 Degrees Celsius with the i5's stock heatsink and fan

A pretty good result me thinks :)
