Where have you found the Qpad 90's under £70? I am planning on buying a pair this week.

    Cheers for the reply.

Have you guys tried out the 85's as a comparison? (I feel that I should take this back to the older review).

You don't still have a pair at Cleveland street for a quick fit test on?

No worries, I will have you assume you all have as big ears/head as I do and take a chance.

I had a pair of Vengeance 1500. I found them too heavy, too uncomfortable and the sound quality wasn't very good. Ended up getting the Roccat Kave instead which is fantastic.

The 5.1 surround ones that plug directly into the soundcard, not the USB ones.

I have a Vengeance 1500 as well and I don't like it either. It's heavy, which is tough for the neck but it's also uncomfortable and it hurts my ears and my jaw a lot after just a few minutes of use. The sound is also crap as there is no bass whatsoever unless I enable the bass boost in windows... wihch can't be done after the windows 8.1 driver fix from Corsair

Corsair sucks now. My TX850 broke 3 times, my CX430 broke almost right away, my Force 3 GT died out of nowhere and the corsair mouse pad I bought is too reflective for an optical mouse (weird, I know. Part of the blame goes to my Roccat Savu). This headset is the last product I ever buy from them... which is sad because I used to respect Corsair a lot

    Thanks fibblesan...

knuck, 'ever' is a long time and they have plenty of hardware that is still top rate from what I read, cases, PSUs, CPU coolers, etc, as well as their memory which is still holding it's own.

I just picked up a pair of these, for the £54 I paid (a lot less than the review price!) I'm pretty happy with sound the quality compared to my old Zalman theatre 6s.
However, I am having a sod of a time with what I think is an audio driver conflict, with games minimising, if launch after running mumble. They don't seem very plug and play, unless I have just been un-lucky.
This is despite re-installing the Asus on-board audio driver package and then also trying with updated (but still old) drivers direct from the Realtek. website.

How do you find the mic on the Roccat Kave? I was tempted by the Qpad but heard (heh) the mic is rubbish.
