Pocket sized LAN rig. For such a tiny board that thing packs a mighty punch.

Meh. Still waiting for something to take the crown from H55N-USB3, which basically means waiting for Gigabyte to release a Z68 ITX board (which was promised but not yet released).

 

I love what Zotac have done. Shame about the SSD performance, but surely that is a bios related issue rather than chipset. Definitely a route I'd consider had I not already bought a S775/ION version of their board.

 

This. Similarly it'll only be peak read and write that are affected; general zippyness and responsiveness will still be great.

 

So absolutely no mention of the CPU Turbo issue at stock, causing +300 MHz compared to other boards in multithreaded mode and a complete unfair advantage in benchmarks?

 

No Slot for a soundcard? That makes me a sad panda

 

It's Mini ITX. Where would you fit one?

 

Use the optical out to a seperate DAC and amp combo? You can get those small enough to be mounted in a spare 3.5" bay.

 

These are cute, but until there are any decent mITX cases on the market i don't think i'll bother. Which is a shame, i quite fancy a tiny HTPC. I don't have the time (or skillz) to make one myself.

 

If you want something powerful you pretty much have to go for a silverstone sg06 with its inbuilt powersupply. But that means your "cheap" little computer has suddenly just become alot more expensive.

Coolermaster please come to my rescue and make a super-cheap mini itx case that fits a 5870.

 

I wouldn't call the sg05/6 expensive, £70 with 300w or £100 with 450w isn't much different to a normal case+psu
