Have a look online for paracord dude, lots of colours, but it not a nice material to sleeve with, plus it fluffs up and looks crap after a while.

    Paracord! Yes, that is it.
Is it really that bad after a while?
I wanted to use white one...

ask him how much "a while" is that? I've been using a very cheap paracord like fabric sleeving for 3 month, and nothing really particular happened.

But yes, white fabric tend to get dirty easier if you have dirty work space when you sleeving.

well, strictly from a apparel industry perspective, the paracord type woven sleeves are mainly made out of polyester or cotton or blend... i prefer to stay with the synthetic fibers as they tend to keep fibers together better and does not create lint that cotton fibers can cause.

nylon would be preferable... not sure if paracord sleeves are made of nylon, but being stronger fiber than poly, perhaps the load bearing ropes uses nylons.

how to test if nylon or cotton or poly? well, hard to describe but burning the fibers and smelling it... if it extinguishes and you see ashes, it's cotton... if the fibers are fueling the fire and remains a burnt lump of plastic, it's either poly or nylon...

difference between poly and nylon, well, different odor... but again, hard to describe over the internet.

I agree with synthetic. Try some nylon multifiliment.

It has a very dense and tight weave and looks fantastic.
