Gigabyte design, Schenker customisation. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2014/05/23/schenker-gigabyte/1
Though I looked at the Schenker laptops, in the end I went with a PC Specialist laptop. They offered more options and a pretty competitive price for what I was getting. In the end though, it's all Clevo chassis.
Apart from the MSI gaming rigs, I don't know of many options for backlit keyboards on a Laptop. I do a lot of DJing work and that is a must requirement for my next machine.
A large majority of the high end Clevo based laptops have them (at least the P150/170 SM & above anyway). My PC Specialist Vortex IV (P170SM) does for example.
I've had good experiences with Schenker as a company and the XMG laptop I got from them a while ago is solid as a rock. This could be good news for gamers looking to buy whitebooks.
