Is it possible to put a non-OS ISO onto a USB stick and run it just like a program installer on a CD /DVD?

I've got an old game ISO that I want to install on my netbook, which doesn't have a DVD drive. I thought it would be simple, but apparently not as all the stuff on the net is for making bootable usb sticks for operating systems.

Extracting the ISO to USB [or a folder] should work for installation, you'll probably need a no-cd patch if the game has a disk check though...

If it's on 8 or later maybe try the native ISO mounting in windows...

Cheers, god knows why I didn't think of doing that.

Tried daemon tools, but at first it didn't look like I count mount an image with the free version, but just doubled clicked the image and it mounted it.
