The server is too busy

I've seen this in a couple of random threads but no specific thread dedicated to the issue, so I apologise if I'm duplicating. I seem to be getting a lot of "server too busy" messages when browsing the forums. I'm not referring to the backup outage just after midnight either - it just happened again.

Is something going on that is hammering the server a lot at the moment, or has the bandwidth available to Bit-tech's forums been reduced? Or it it just me and a few others?

It's quite irritating, and probably even more so for those part way through transactions on the marketplace.

Yep, I'm getting annoyed with it just trying to browse the forums.

 

I just wrote out a reply to this thread, but it got lost because the server was too f**king busy!

WTF is going on? DoS attack or Dennis going skinflint on us again?

 

Me too, and it screwed up my Tapatalk temporarily too.

 

Just happened to me and is happening far more often than it ever used to. Probably Dennis uploading another several hundred thousand of their extremely annoying adverts.

 

None of which I see because last time Dennis did that, I AdBlocked the site, and it's not coming off.

 

The last few days I have been getting it alot - at random points during the day. 5 - 10 minutes "server is too busy".

I mean I should be working but that is superfluous.

 

Dennis skimped on the hamster food this month.

 

Glad it's not just me - I've lost about a dozen post replies and PMs to the issue in the past few days. It's enough to drive me elsewhere.

It's happening a lot for me too - it's really annoying, but yes, I know I should be working...

Likely Dennis cut backs or a back door way of driving us away as they did the partner forums...

But yeah today feels like it is a one at a time forum lol. (Computer and tapatalk).

And the fact thay it has taken many attemps to post anywhere on the forum......
