A/V Monitor HELP please

    So, new monitor arrived, plugs in and hey, my windows does not fit the screen, i have a 1 inch black surround left to fill.
    Resolution is correct on Windows and monitor auto fit does nothing

    i am obviously looking past the obvious :wallbash:

    Please don't use VGA or HDMI to connect the monitor to your system.
    Use DVI or DisplayPort, which are significantly more reliable medium.

    That should fix your problem

    Using DVI to HDMI lead for the Monitor

    I found catalys control centre to be a pain in the arse, i managed to uninstall then install fresh drivers and done a bit of fiddle and hey presto

    Thanks for the suggestion
