Where would be the best place to have a drain valve in the loop? I'll be using an XSPC Dual bay res-pump combo in the bottom of my case, should i have the drain valve after or before the pump?

    Cheers

Used to have a valve teed in at the lowest point, but changed when I bought my new radiator. Fluid will drain past the pump impeller reasonably well.

The Alphacool UT60 has a g1/4" bleed plug and, as it's in the bottom of my case, I just stuck an elbow and valve on that.

My ST30's have only got the 2 ports for in/out. If the fluid can get past the impeller ok it'll probably be best post-pump. Cheers! :)

Which XSPC pump/res combo are you going to be using out of curiosity?
