So I'm finally doing it I'm taking the plunge so to speak and am ordering the shiny stuff I don't already have, I'd like you guys to have a look over it and check I've not mad any blundering errors. Also for the things I've not yet purchased any retailer suggestions would be appreciated. Purchased: xspc rx 360 rad 6 sp 120's swiftech mcp d5 (not sure of the model but it's the variable speed one) ekwb d5 top and reservoir 140 csq ekwb supremacy full copper edition 2 xspc 360 rad rubber gaskets To buy: 8 copper compression fittings 3/8 ID 1/2 OD (has anybody tried these or these) naked ivy ekwb add on TIM for both the gpu and cpu block (coollaboratory pro/ultra?) Phobya fan controller for both the fans and pump, 3 fans on each channel. fan splitter for 3 fans x2 24 UNC 6-32 screws preferably button headed and at least 35mm long. Full cover gtx 680 waterblock (and a backplate?) PSU bridging plug. Coolant (thinking distilled water and mayhems dye) Tubing (no idea which brand to go for must be 3/8 1/2 though and clear) All thoughts, ideas and suggestions greatly encouraged.
Your bought items look OK. The Alphacool fittings are decent quality. The others you linked to look crap but they'll work fine. Be aware that with both Cool Lab Pro and Ultra you'll need to scrub it off when replacing and it will remove CPU markings. They lied about Ultra being easy to remove. With it being conductive I've not used it on Graphics cards due to the risk. Putting the pump on the fan controller is pointless, you'll only be able to adjust the voltage by 1 or 2V and bear in mind it'll require up to 4 times the wattage on startup. Just use the vario speed control. Screws from either Specialtech or Model Fixings I like Primochill tubing but clear tubing can leach plasticiser leaving it looking opaque especially if water temps go over about 40ºC (ish).
I would suggest Masterkleer tubing, and Monsoon fittings combined with MX4 paste. Everything else looks fine, apart from the coolant I wouldn't use Mayhems personally but that's up to you.
Depending on your layout you might also want to get a few angled fittings to keep the loop looking tidy.
