Hi there. I have been trying to restrict access on my computer to only certain websites, but I'm having problems.

For example, f I tell internet explorer that I want to only access ebay, it will only then allow me access to the home page and not the rest of the site. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What software are you using to limit the access? Are you using the security zones in Internet Explorer?

I'm just using the built in software that comes with internet explorer. I've not heard of security zone before though.

add some wildcards in there - say you want to access *.ebay.*/* and you should be able to access all the different ebays and all the different pages. The syntax in my example might be a bit wrong but you should be able to do it with wildcards.
