Corsair bundled an encryption program with my pendrive, that did exactly that.

Mark, are you running Windows 7, I remember you talking about it? If you are, Bitlocker to Go should work, I haven't tried it out yet.

TrueCrypt is a brilliant encyrption program with loads of features, including the ability to hide a portion of data inside another area, so even if you have to give up your main password, you can have other more sensitive data hidden deeper.

    Give it a look...

TrueCrypt requires administrator privileges to run a drive.

I actually think the WinRAR's the best idea yet; pretty much everything runs WinRAR and it is pretty much impossible to attack by any means other than brute force (I should know, I had Elcomsoft's WinRAR cracker; it would take days of full-out blasting to break even a moderate password, since mine were about 180 characters you'd need a Cray to break them). Plus you can encode the files seperately so you don't have to decode everything to get what you want. Keep it simple etc

How do I retrieve data from a broken pen drive? I broke a pen drive accidentaly. It broke into two parts at the base of the USB port. Is there any way to retrive data stored in the drive?
