Folks Can anyone recommend a good 2.1 system that allows two inputs for Xbox one and PC. Budget is not a major issue but I need best bang for buck with a system that doesnt take up loads of room. I have considered a 5.1 system to replace my dead Sony SA WBE1 but the only thing I can see with two optical inputs is the Logitech Z906 but its not cheap! Optical input is my preferred connection but I have not seen it on any 2.1 systems so I may resort to the usual 3.5mm input. Thanks in advance
Not a 2.1 set but the Microlab Solo9C's have Optical, 2xRCA, HDMI and Coax inputs. They should have more than enough oomph in the bass department, despite the lack of subwoofer. The Solo8C's also have the same inputs minus the HDMI and are a bit cheaper. Edit: Found a 2.1 set with Optical and Coax, Microlab M910. They're EOL now though.
Checked out the microlab stereo speakers but they are a tad too big for me. Need something a little smaller.
Acoustic Energy AE26-06B AEGO M 2.1 active speaker system Black not cheep but they will bang for your buck some was sold here few weeks ago with raving reviews
Do like the look of the gear from microlab. Was tempted by the m910 due to the optical input, however there does not seem to be a headphone output. Now considering a denon m39 and some small but competent speakers.
