    Hi all

one of my local business asked me if i am interested to develop a site for them. but i have no idea how much i should ask, can anyone help?

Basically they want to sell same products online whatever thay are selling instore, they estimated they want to put 1000 to 1200 items on web initially. I am thinking to use something like shopify to make everything simple.

Please advise if you have done somthing similler or have an idea of it.

    Thanks in advance! :thumb:

First question to ask them is if they want you to put the products on the site or if they will do it, it makes a massive difference

If I built the site using something like shopify then probably I have to put some of the products and show them how to do it. There is one more thing i have to do in addition, is taking photos of some products as they don't have any picture of it.

How long do you think it'll take?

As a complete guestimate I'd be thinking 5 days (40 hours) at £84 + VAT an hour.
Then a monthly support fee if they want little changes & hosting etc

See if their existing EPOS system can link to a webshop platform, that way they don't need to worry about updating stock levels or payment processing.

EPOSNow, for example offer this with Nettl & WooCommerce http://www.eposnow.com/uk/nettl-pos
