For those of you that don't know what these are. They are as fast as a HD7970!

I couldn't go the route of AMD and the HD7970, so I bought a couple of these to keep me going, because gaming @ 2560x1600, I know SLI works, and it works very well. I don't want to sit around with 2 HD7970's knowing AMD are not interested in fixing the CF problems, because there excuse is, 'Only 1% of house holds use CF' (All I can say is, and from personal experience 'Once bitten, twice shy).

Anyhow these are as fast as a HD7970, and with the extra PCIe adaptors, I see some great OC coming. (Over 1Ghz core should be easy).:)

Do those have waterblocks? Those stock coolers are FUGLY.

They maybe FUGLY to you, but I like them. And it's not about the look, but what performance it can do.
Anyhow, I'm looking at getting 2 of these, when they come available.

Surprisingly, I quite like the look of them. Although, that little protruding vent on the top looks like it's designed purely to cook your SLI bridge. :D

Those look the bee's knees. Besides, you've got an enormous radiator, it'd be a waste to just cool a CPU with it. :)

Dont see how they are as fast as 7970's though, maybe with some extreme overclocking they could be as fast as a stock 7970 but the 7970 is one hell of a good overclocker itself.

The problem with these test are, they are not running 2560x1600, as this is where the 3GB memory will start to come into play.

Also enthusiast like myself, crank every setting up including the nVidia control panel, to get the best eye candy from the game. With these setting, this is where you will start to see the GPU's using a hell of allot of VRAM.

So this is why I take these benchmarks, with a pinch of salt. As they are not real world performance in my eyes.:)

Again, going by my previous post ^ all benchmarks are not real world performance.

I would be happy to test some games, vs HD7970 CF, @ 2560x1600 in real world.

Well, they are real world performance - but at a specific resolution and on one set of hardware. It still gives you a yardstick to go off of.

However, agree with the extra VRAM for multiscreen setups. You should have some fun with those Simon! Once you're all setup and running, post up some pics and your heaven bench so I can see how much you're getting over my rig :thumb:

    Have fun bud.

Yes I do like the look of them very stealthy military, have to admit I've never seen these cards before this thread.

and yes I also liked the way the cost was discretely blanked out :) for those unemployed and jobless please don't look at the TOTAL lol
