I know I cant see much of it but it looks nice!!!! does its specs outweigh the fact it doesn't have g sync?
Here's hoping for 980-thrashing performance. It's about time they got out in front again, although their financial worries leave me wondering about the launch price.
"...optimised for 4k gaming...designed for VR immersion..." And so it begins, I wonder what it's lesser siblings will be like. At long last, I can feel an upgrade coming on.
Well it has Freesync – which offers a similar feature set and will save you £100 - £200 on your monitor. Oh it’ll absolutely thrash the 980 – it has the same number of shaders as the 295x2 on a single die AND HBM stacked memory which means huge memory bandwidth. I’m expecting it to go pound for pound with the TitanX for less cash (but more power consumption) Yep, LiquidVR sounds good.
295x2 has 5,760 shaders, this doesn't.... That said I expect Titan-X like performance for around £550-600. At least this makes up for AMD's atrocious 300M/3XX OEM listings so far...
Everyone (red or green team) should want this to be good. We need a proper arms race to make 4k gaming available to the masses as soon as possible.
Again though, launch price is the big worry - they are bound to take a leaf out of nvidia's book and launch at £500+ and, if it comfortably beats the Titan X, christ knows how much more. I'd like to see a nice, less power hungry, GPU from AMD though.
it will more exspenive than normal for AMD with if there sporting that spec and new tech, also looks to have a AIO loop as reference :/ which is cool, but adds like £50 on top of the card.
Probably doesn't show much more than Parge's original image but for peoples enjoyment. And for those mentioning price rumors suggest it may come in around $599.
