Hello guys. I want to share with you my new project. It's a Scratch build with the steampunk themed inspired by Tomas Edison. I hope you enjoy it and I would like everyone's opinion.

    The pieces that already arrive...

A 37-way connector, used in aviation and which I will incorporate into the project. I do not know because I really like the look of this...

And the computer will stay inside those acrylic domes, making an allusion to the lamp...

Positioning the motherboard inside the dome
    [IMG]

Making the marking of the drilling of the mobo
    [IMG]

Demarcating the space that the mobo will occupy in the acrylic base
    [IMG]

Positioning the GSkill SSD to mark the space to be occupied.

And positioning the VGA, which will be on the other side of the base
    [IMG]

Here is a video of the presentation of the project (sorry the language of the video, but I did in my native language)

Continuing, I picked up some gears in the junkyard and some cylindrical pieces of nylon to make some gears.

I do not like the motherboard connectors because they are always jagged, so I'm taking measurements to make a cover
    [IMG]

Improvising an acrylic bender with iron bars, clamp and thermal blower.

    Trimming the excess
    [IMG]

In the lower corner, the cover hits the capacitors. So I had to make a snap.

I thought about reusing old SMD LEDs to create illumination for the motherboard connectors
    [IMG]

    It's work
    [IMG]

Welding with an old soldering iron. The new ones last nothing.

For now, that's it. Here's a video of those steps.

    Continuing ...

I soldered 3 LEDs in series to put on the cover[IMG]

Testing to see if it's working
    [IMG]

Making a gutter to accommodate the LEDs and gluing
    [IMG]

Painting the LEDs in yellow with “stained glass” and testing
    [IMG]

Masking the motherboard to put the gold leaf
    [IMG]

    Passing varnish to protect
    [IMG]

Cutting a gear removed from a printer
    [IMG]

    Painting in gold.

Applying black vinyl and trimming the LED's
    [IMG]

    Glueing the gears
    [IMG]

    Placing the Cover and Testing
