Looks like this is gonna be sweet, I like the fact that you're building with aluminium extrusion.
    Keep it coming!

Not really a whole lot of modding going on here, wasn't really sure where to put it though? Won't be leaving the dremel out completely though ;)

Thanks guys for the positive comments!

    Well here they are :D

I was taking pictures of the build process... but it seemed unnecessary and was slowing me down hehe so here are a few progress/unboxing pics along with some final pics. I'll be taking a lot more tomorrow with hardware in it in the beautiful AZ sun!

A HUGE THANKS TO JIM @ CASELABS! This case is a work of art, just breathe taking. The instructions were easy and straightforward, everything was labeled well, and all the material is amazing quality.

    CABLE MANAGEMENT COME AT ME!

Good news & Bad news concerning the build.

Good news: I was able to purchase some serious folding hardware :)

Bad news: The money I had set aside to buy 7990s on launch date is now gone :(

Here some first pictures of the Koolance box!

I have to pick up an allen wrench set as I don't have the right size to finish the installation but I'll be doing that later :)

To many expensive parts, not enough actual modding:)

When are we going to see some actual progress?

I like the orange powdercoating:) But do yourself a favor (I dont know if your parts list is updated), but scrap that liquid fuzion reservoir. They are notoriously known for breaking and ****ing up your equipment. And you might want to reconsidder those koolance quick disconectors. I have had 6 sets, and HATED them. Bigger CPC might be ugly, but with the place you have, you should be able to hide them.

I haven't bought the res yet, what else would you recommend?

As far as modding and progress. Really just waiting on a few key parts. A couple more EX480s and the pair of AX1200s.

What didn't you like about the Koolance QDCs? I've heard nothing but good things about them.

I dont really know what you want a reservoir for, since you bought a reservoir/pump station. But my thought is that you are going to get tired of that one too, since they are not too easy to bleed.

My reservoir of choice at the moment would proberly be the Aquacomputer Aqualis http://forum.aquacomputer.de/wasser...aus-borosilikatglas-gemacht-f-r-die-ewigkeit/

If you can find anyone that sells it yet:)

Regarding the QD´s - I found the o-rings bad, and got worn down quick. They would also sometimes slip off, and you have to be very carefull when putting them together.
But it is the only "attractive" QD´s on the market sadly. They are also quite hard on the flow if you use to many of them.
Secondly, they spill way more water than the "uglier" CPC QD´s when pulled apart.

If you are not planning on taking them apart each week, you should be fine. But for the love of god, stay clear of that frozenQ reservoir. You are going to cry when it breakes.

Oh, and since you look to want high-end parts, have a look at the corsair AX1200I PSU instead of the AX1200.
