Why is my folding so slow?
Most my PPD is from a PS3 which seems to be doing more than this lot:

How can i speed them up?

    Thanks

Initial question - what is your hardware and OS?
Second question - what projects are you running (you had no choice, but the PPD can vary a lot between projects)?

The PS3 should be getting about 900PPD.
The Athlon 3500 figure may be OK - depends on project
The GPUs can probably be improved

    Ok well hardware and OS:

8500GT - Windows Vista Home Premium
    Server - 8600GT - Windows Home Server
AMD Athlon 3500+ - Windows Home Server
Sam-PC - 8600GT - Windows XP SP3 (This one is sometimes on when not gaming)

Just adding a AMD 4800+ which is running on Windows Vista Ultimate.

And for prodjects I ealy do have no idear.
The 3500+ is the slowest out of the lot :(
Takes days to fold for crappy points :( But its for a good cause :)

Just a quick question - Which guide, if any, did you use to create your fahmon web template? I'd like to put a link to one for my folding in my farm thread :)

I did use a guid :) sorta looked around in prefrences and notice the export web application.
I just set it to save it in a webfolder on my server and made it public via a url. Keeps its self updated :) Pretty good so far.

I can try get some screenshots for you if you want :)

if the guid dosn't work then I would suggest running WAMP.
Which runs a webserver on your computer. (Windows Apache, MySql, Php - i think lol)

The setting fahmon to export the template into the www folder of WAMP in C:/wamp.
The portforwarding the corrent ports for html. 80 is the main one i think.
Then get a url to point at your ip, or get a dyndns url form a website and pont your url to that if you have a non-static ip.

ethier way im sure you will figure it out :) nice farm by the way :)

Thanks, I'll give it a go and see what happens ;) Don't worry too much about low PPD today btw, mine is desperately low on all hardware today as well. Tough WU's and projects are to blame.

Go to FahMon, View, Show/hide WU Info panel. Highlight client of interest.

It doesn't surprise me that the Athlon 3500 is the slowest, and takes days; so do mine.

It's not the password or login name, I can access those through my control panel. It's the actual FTP url - My host has disabled FTP acces to the server. Needless to say i am about to call them and give out yards. :grr: :nono:
