    This has totally blown me away. Me and the mrs have the gp recorded ready to watch today but this has really shocked us.

    Am really upset here, watched it live and it is a shocker. By far my favourite rider - at times reckless, other times plain awesome. He was to be the next big thing in Moto GP, he will be sorely missed.

    RIP Marco, will miss you man.

    Shocking & horrendous accident. He was well on his way to being the main attraction in motogp. He'll be sorely missed. Still numb from seeing it this morning. RIP Marco

    I didn't see it nikols, i only heard off a friend, so gutted he was one of the nicest guys in motogp so so sad, he will be very sadly missed....im just so numb, cant concentrate on anything. yes jeff a champion in the making...and rossi's best mate hence why i think rossi will retire.

    This has really knocked me and the mrs for six. We were all set to watch it this morning but were on a major downer now.

    Such an upcoming talent prospect for the future.

    Not for the faint of heart knowing what occurred but here's the crash. Edwards & Rossi must feel terrible, although there was nothing they could do.
