Well you certainly wouldn't buy this system because it represents value for money!

I think I may have a different definition of "Ultra-Portable" to 8Pack :eyebrow:

You even get to call 8Pack's mobile number to talk about his rocket. Ahem. :D

£4.7k might be reassuringly expensive to some and it's a great looking build, but in the cold light of day it's an i5 running 200MHz faster than mine which cost about £600 all told, minus the monitor.

    I honestly don't get it.

You're basically just paying a metric crap-load for the custom 8Pack case, watercooling loop and access to him. However, having seen some of his advice elsewhere, that being a good thing is open to interpretation.

I have the same sentiment time and time again whenever a top-end pre-build like this is released, concerning its styling: Where are all of these 13 year-old boys that are spending £4000+ on a PC?

Over-branded, over-aggressive and over-l33t IMO. It's one thing modding/building your own individual case and going with whatever look you please, but when it's an off the shelf item that looks like this, it has a bit of a "l33t gam3rz" feel to it.

Yes, or perhaps their hoping to appeal to the Sheikh LAN party scene?
