I built my PC around 18 months ago, and had a few problems.

    Specs are:

    Motherboard: ASUS P5NE-SLi
    CPU: Intel E8400 @ 3.00Ghz
GPU: GeForce 8800GT (Pre OC by BFG, approx 1266MB)
    RAM: 2GB Corsair

When the RAM is in dual channel, the PC crashes under reasonably heavy load after around 30 minutes. The screen would freeze, and the sound stutter.

I still get crashes occasionally in single channel, but much, much less frequently. I've been told it could be overheating, a poor quality motherboard, or power issues. I can't remember the exact model of PSU, but I'm fairly certain it was around 600-800W, so I'm not sure if power is the issue. Both the motherboard and the RAM were checked out when the problems first started, and were both in full working order.

Any help would be appreciated; reccomendations for new parts, or advice for dealing with the current ones. Cheers.
