    Hy @ all

it´s time for a new worklog again :thumb:

And again, it will be a Cosmos 2

Due to the fact that we have to wait until the hardware for our Cosmos Projects arrive...we already could start to work on the second one, so that we could finish it before the Cebit starts.

Like you could imagine from the title...we choosed a automotive theme for this mod ...and we also started to work on the first parts....:D

So before we start....we want to send a thank you to Coolermaster for their support and that great Case!!! :thumb:

And now it´s time to start with the first pics

We started with a few cardboard pieces which we made to simulate the air inlets we´re going to make...beside that we also choosed a form for the window....

then it was time to start the jigsaw :D
    [IMG]

as next step we made a few cuts to the mid plate so that we could place a 200mm behind the front like on our Cosmos 2 - 2in1 Edition -

then we continued the work on the radiator....took 2 of the ports away....

and closed the holes with 2 metall pieces....

Excellent, I'm doing the EXACT same thing with my door intake/exhausts. Except mine will be all rear facing. Can't wait to see where you go with this one too.

Interesting... Ever since I saw the 'Dream Machine 2011' last July I've wanted to do a car themed mod on the Cosmos II... I'm subscribing to this for extra inspiration!
Looks good so far man, I can't wait to see how this baby turns out!

    thanks m8´s!!!

In the last days we continued the work on this mod....so i have a few new pics for you :thumb:

After cutting down the exhaust tubes to the right length we continued on the mounting of the tubes and the inside of the sidepanel....

first we sanded the inside of the sidepanel so that the tubes can be mounted in the sidepanel and the sidepanel can still be closed from the inside ....

then it was time to drill some holes for the screws....

After that we continued with the preparations for the painting process....

First all parts had to get a nice and even black painted surface...so that the laquer we´re going to use, has an optimal base when we´re going to paint it....

the tubes already got a used chrome look so that they look more like exhaust pipes...

After finishing the preparations...we directly start over with the final color and the first parts which got painted.... (it´s a Lugano Blue Metallic )

and finally, here is a pic from the first clear coat layer we´re going to add .... (with blue metal flakes in it)

And another sick Cosmos 2 mod. Nice job mate, not sure I like this as much as the other, but certainly putting some detailing in, and love the colour!
