After several years of absence. I try to start again with casemodding. Not so intensive as in the past. Again it’s a Lian li case. This time, the one that give me the inspiration to casemodding. It’s a replica from the pc-78 from Tom Versteeg. (2002-2003) Tom Versteeg. This is the case. Sorry, for the small photo. The front. Iinside the case. The other side. Last week my mate Peet van Damed give me a call. Ed last time on the way back from spa francorchamps after the formula 1. You told me that there is a case that you still want to mod. And I have it. Come and get it. Left Peet Damend. The fat head. That's me. So I pick-up the case. And this is how it looks now. Peet say bring it back to how it was. But. I doubt. Old school. Ore change the promentia mach2 to a water chiller. And make some like this. So what will I do?
Hey Ediejo, Really nice to see you back here at Bit-Tech! Especially when I can say that you were always a huge inspiration for me and among a few others who made me start modding myself. For the case, it would be kind of cool to see a phase change cooling because it's old school and different from what you see today, but on the other hand I'd like to see you go all out with modern hardware on the "vintage" Lian Li (which hasn't aged too badly, it's still gorgeous). I'm voting for new hardware just because I want to see where you go with it Darkened
Keeping an eye on this one Ed. Brings back memories. I have been working on my unfinished mod too behind the scenes. Maybe.....
Hey Ediejo & Franklin, I wrote this yesterday: You're both on the list there, so Franklin, I'd definitely like to see you go at it again Darkened
I just read that in the relevant thread. It says a lot about your skill when you knock 4 long time members out of dormancy by posting a log. (Yeah, Darkened been here a week now...) I'd love to see whatever you have planned, but working with new hardware would probably be more fun for you. Most of us like to play with the new toys, after all.
Do an old school Athlon MP setup, they're cheap now. I like the old school stuff, never get a chance to pull out my quad socket any more. Do I count as an old modder? Been doing this a long time...
Voted = Old Skool... Subbed!! Still use my old athlon mp for browsing etc, just can't part with it!?!
Finally some news after more than 1 year. This month. I get a new home. That's means also a new room for casemodding. I hope to continue very soon on this case.
