Umm... is it just me or is there no score?
And yes, I did actually read the review.

Just watched the trailer on steam. As described in the review, looks great. A proper throwback.

    Currently 10% off too

I've been playing this all weekend and it is fantastic! Old school indeed but great fun, loving it!

    You are forgiven.
Knew it'd be high anyway but there's primal instinct to see what number gets stuck on it. :)

This is not a game for evryone. But thise who love a good old dungeon crawler like "eye of the beholder", and "dungeon master" will definetely love it!
I really hope more like this one to come soon!

Pre-ordered this game from GOG on a punt.
Barely stopped playing it since. Its fantastic. When something bad happens, I feel like I should have done better, like the mistakes are mine alone. The game never seems to punish you in a way that you don't deserve.

    Great review!

BTW, can someone point me which other game to get like this one? A nice dungeon crawler?

    Stonekeep on Gog.com

The last of this style of game released in the mid-90's, very good.

Also a shoutout to Bloodwych! One of my favourites.

    @Yemerich:
Maze Master on the C-64. :)

Picking this up today. Love a good bit of mindless, don't-have-to-worry-about-quests battles.

Yeah not a game for everyone, tho I did enjoy Lands of Lore and Ultima Underworld back in the olden days, but I guess I'm tired of the genre now.

Not going to bother with this due to the lack of multiplayer. Very disappointing. When I was a kid playing Bloodwych with my mates was brilliant fun, all the dungeon crawliness of Dungeon Master, but with two teams of players, it was brilliant, arguing over loot, trying to decide who got to starve to death first, using the other team as human shields. Good times. But crawling through a low fi dungeon game solo, I dunno. Just doesn't sound as much fun as it did when I was a sprog.

Loved Eye of the Beholder I & II on the Amiga, and later Lands of Lore on the PC, so went ahead and bought this and look forward to playing it once I've got through my backlog of games.

Plus the good reviews here and on RPS (where I notice Joe has started popping up) didn't hurt. Hopefully this is the start of a tile-based revival - I'd love to see something like Hired Guns updated with modern graphics.

The amount of time I spent playing Dungeon Master (plus the poor sequel) on my Atari ST was ridiculous, I even bought for the PC once I got serious about gaming. I'll be buying this one for sure.

I don't particularly enjoy this kind of RPG myself, but I'm delighted to see it doing so well and receiving glowing reviews from so many sites. I'm tempted to pick it up, but I just don't have the time lately.

    Looks pretty decent.

Is there a reason why you took all the review screenshots straight from the steam store page rather than generating some of your own?
