Man, that messes with the head..... You should try it as a desktop background. It tiles seamlessly....

*EDIT* It murders the CPU though if you set it as your wallpaper

lol took forever to load but that would be one helluva trip as a background or wallpaper lol

 

I loaded that on an older Duron box a minute ago and heard the CPU fan spin right up... checked and it had increased the core temperature by 9°C

Ok - anyone know who posted a link to macusersforum? I'm guessing it's someone who saw it here, but maybe not. Not a really big deal, except it killed our "most popular pages" stats. Now, "tiled coolest animated gif ever" is number 2 right after main page...

It is hosted in a co-locate place that is good and reliable so there shouldn't be any issues. The only possiblity I can see is that someone from either this forum or macusersforum gave us either a nice DOS attack (Posting a link on some big site like slashdot) or a mean DOS attack (twerp with a twisted sense of humor.....)

Anyway - I will post an update as soon as we can contact Damon.
