Out of all the streaming apps what is the best for Rock music in anyone's experience for rights management? I know Metallica and AC/DC record companies have issues with these streaming companies.

At the minute trying xbox music, spotify(daugter's student) and deezer (6 months Samsung trial).

I use Digitally Imported, but not sure what they are like or Rock Music as I just listen to Trance and Dance on there.

I use Spotify and it's rarely missing any songs, even if they're pretty obscure.

I've just got into listening to music more, restarted my xbox music sub up again last night but couldn't listen to zeppelin. I know on spotify it will but xbox music is a pound cheaper, I am already paying for spotify it will kill me to pay for it twice lol.

Digitally Imported keeps the Rock separate at:

    http://rockradio.com/

(although a lot of it is metal)

I was lucky and got into the Canadian Spotify beta, and I am loving it. It has a great selection of songs, and I also like how you can add you personal library to your spotify library through the desktop program and have a mix of your spotify playlist and your own personal library.

I think Spotify is free if you don't mind the ads, and don't want to listen on a mobile.

Nope. Its even free for mobiles though you're limited to 10 skips every couple of hours and of course the occasional advert.

Adblock plus works to block the ads on the web player, but I prefer the desktop app as I can just use global hotkeys for media switching, plus as previously mentioned, mixing my personal library with my spotify songs.
