So - I've been kicking this one around for a while, and thought if I posted something on bit, it would make me actually pull my finger out and do something about it.

I've got my trusty NCASE that I want to shoehorn my current #1 system into, complete with a full WC loop. It'll be total overkill, and as you probably know, I like making computers that are small (and quiet).

I suspect this won't be anything near silent, but still.

The biggest problem I'm facing is the location of pumps and reservoirs. I've seen a few versions of water-cooled NCASEs recently, which either house the pump and res outside, like this one:

...and FrozenQ even make an exterior reservoir for the M1:

I don't want to do that. There's 'dead' space in the front between the pop-on front panel, and I reckon there's wasted space under the top panel too.

This gives me an idea... :dremel:

I'm aiming for a 45mm(ish) rad in the side and a 30mm rad in the bottom (with thin fans) to cool a 5960X, a Titan X (Pascal), and maybe the RAM if I can fit in a RAM block for funsies.

So I suppose, the specs will be:

    - Asrock X99e/ITX
    - nVidia Titan X Pascal
    - Samsung 950 Pro 512Mb
    - Corsair SF600 PSU
    - 32Gb Crucial Ballistix DDR4
    - 1Tb 850 EVO

    ...and in terms of watercooling:

    - Bitspower Full Cover ASRIX99 block
    - Aquacomputer Titan X Block plus active cooling backplate
    - EK rads (for now)
    - as yet undecided pump
    - as yet undecided fans
    - hard tubing? don't know yet.

I'll be doing custom cables for it too.

My thinking is perhaps fitting a custom-fit res into the front (in the void), but pump location is currently bothering me.

Anyway - initial ramble over. I'm going to go away to do some thinking and planning.

Do you need a Res? Can you go old school T-Line?

I'm thinking combo res and pump top in the front of the case - I'm busy scheming some 3D models!

I've already got one of those - it's excellent - in fact it's brilliant for a SFF build - thanks both :)

However - I've got some custom acrylic ideas brewing - watch this space! :thumb:

Nice, really tempted to pick up an NCASE. I'm between that and one of the new Caselabs Bullet's. Will be interesting to see how you fit that all in the NCASE :)

edit - can I just ask if you dont mind, did you get hit with much import cost on the NCASE?

They're really great - now there's a decent wave of SFF PSUs from which to choose.

I can't remember how much import duty I got 'done' for - could probably find the paperwork though! I will probably end up ordering some more bits from them anyway - as I could do with a couple of spare panels...!
