Graphics GTX 970 for 1080p gaming?

    A 970 will laugh at anything at 1080p resolution.

    I personally think your 950 is still fine, but you could look at overclocking it - aim for 4+ GHz if you're willing to crank up the voltage a little bit, or ~3.5 GHz if you don't want to fiddle with voltages.

    Lastly, I would probably go with EVGA. I think it's worth the extra £5 for a significant factory OC, plus you can use the Step Up programme to upgrade your card if you decide you want a little more power (has to be done within 90 days of purchasing the card).

    Just what I wanted to hear. Only reason I put the MSI there was reports of MSI and Gigabyte cards hitting the 1500MHz+ mark after overclocking easily compared to the EVGA one

    Yeah 970 is a good choice, and I'd also say the 950 will be fine for the majority of games. This maybe even more true next year when DX12 kicks off.

    Its the only Nvidia card manufacture id buy from. They have best warranty and there pre overclocked cards are very good.
