    Accompanying security updates for 10.9 and 10.8 have also been released. However 10.7 is being left unpatched and so potentially insecure.

    Actually my above statement is incorrect. Apple decided not to fix this back-door in earlier versions so everything before 10.10.3 is vulnerable. Exploit code has been published which can grant root access to any user.

    So the back-door is now wide open for corporate users who may not be able to upgrade immediately to Yosemite.

    they really need to have the update from 10.7 and higher for this as not all systems can run any higher then 10.7 and 10.10 brakes some printers
