My computer is driving me nuts, but I think I may just be missing a setting.

    I have a weird HDMI-out problem.
    I reinstalled Win10, and HDMI-out doesn't work.

So I downloaded the recommended driver from the Laptop manufacturer and installed it.
    HDMI-out works.
To finish the the install I need to restart.
    HDMI-out is dead.

So I went to Device Manager, deinstalled it, restarted, and reinstalled it.
    No HDMI-out

Device Manager again, it offers me to update the driver automatically.
    HDMI-out works. I watch a movie.
    I restart.
    HDMI-out is dead. :wallbash:

Device Manager offers me to use "last working driver", I click okay.
    HDMI-out works!
    I restart.
    HDMI-out is dead. :wallbash:

Do you start to see a pattern yet? :D

Anyway I went to automatic update settings, and set it to no automatic updates (as I suspect it to update when restarting), but the behaviour stays the same.

    It's driving me nuts.

    HELP!!! :D

It's a Celeron N2940 based netbook (Tablet---2in1) with integrated graphics and Win10 64bit, so nothing extraordinary.

What happens if you try the drivers direct from Intel (I'm fairly sure those are the right ones)?

    The same.
The Windows update loads the Intel drivers, and I've also installed them directly.
I've also tried the last Win8.1 drivers, same thing.

I've also installed and tried the Intel Driver Update Utility:
The only change I can get in this behaviour ist that it stopped outputting to HDMI completely, even after changing the driver.

I reinstalled windows since then, now I'm back to the behaviour I posted above, HDMI-out works after changing the driver, but stops after restart.

No ideas what might be causing the changes after reboot?
