Well after a long 19 months its final at a stage where I can say its finished for now. Hope you enjoy this small selection of photos, I plan to do a full write up very soon. Thanks Skorchio
Progress Video 1 Progress Video 2 As some of you know I have wanted a TJ07 for some time, I now have one. Most of you didn’t know that I have been planning my TJ07 build for nearly a year and I have many drawings and idea, so here goes... Some key features: Gloss white case with gloss white internals. 3 loops, 3 shades of blue. 3 DDC pumps with Res Tops. Illuminated floor White Cable Here are some drawings to give you a slight idea although other plans are unsure as i want to keep this open to new ideas.
Just purchased the final rad i need PA120.2 (thanks PD) so now the rads will be used as follows. PA120.3 - CPU + NB PA120.2 - GPU XSPC 120 - SB + VRM's
Ok here she is, part modded buy Alun who i bought it from. First off this thing needs to come off, it ripped all the paint off as it was stuck on like hell! I put the PSU and rad it so I could get a feel for how they are going to sit. Should be able to get both rads down here no problems. I then set about putting in the mobo on the mobo tray, you can also see from this pic the result of taking off the foam pad. As this polished up so nice, I might polish the whole backing of the mobo tray. I then made a template for the pumps so I could see how they would go and how much room i would have. As you can see (from this angle) you can see much of the 3rd pump so i may be extending the window out, I think I will have to also extend out the other way so you can see all the pipe coming out the floor. Put the mirror acrylic on the GFX card to see how this would work. Other cards in and another possible mirror. This is where im going to have to cut both drive bay hangers (its the very faint line bang in the middle). Cutting it here will leave me with 2 mounting holes down the side so should be nice a secure. This is where the 3rd rad and HDD's will be.
Jesus Christ, you've been here all of 5 minutes and you've already got a project log up And it involves a TJ07 And I've accidentally the subscribe button
haha thanks mate I done the easy bits now, its going to be a long job on the others, why i had to build a new rig for aion! Thanks for looking Edit I also wont be using them fans some nice shiny new onces me thinks!!
ooo, Sam likes, got a TJ07 myself, and have something in mind. I asume you will be putting a rad on the top? If so, whats the clearence like between a rad/fan and the motherboard? As from what i can see, it will be very tight, but i maube wrong. Bring on more updates. Sam Ninja Edit: You could call it 'Blue Thunder'?
There is 2 actuly! But i only have one power connecter for it and the ribbon dont reach *giggles* Im not having a rad at the top Sam, but here is a photo to help you plan your build, the vernier is set to 50mm. As you can see you have a few MM spare. Edit Make that 50.6mm hehe
Of course all i hope to have it going allong at a good pace, there are many mods that will take time tho
Epic drawing skills I thought your watercooling looked like fallopian tubes (or at least what id like to think theyd look like ) This project needs a name Awesome work mate, ill subscribe and stick around for it! Cheers!
Thanks Sub, nice to see so many faces i know! Dj, thanks, there are more drawings comming on monday so watch this space Somone said "Blue ray" which i quite like, but it wont even have a blue ray player! With the 3 resses it kinda looks like a production factory or lab. Making Blue? Blue Refinary? Hmm.
As its going to have dark blue , blue and clear, and there will be a “clean” white and illuminated floor i think i want to go along the lines of cleaning the blue out of the water. Cleansing Purifying blue Purify <<<<<<<<<<, oww i really like this? What you guys think to Purify?
Ok Ok Bagman, here you go I just got off lunch and finished the Rad+HDD drawing. This shows how i will be mounting the HDD's and rad in the drive bays. I will be using 4mm alli with m2 screws. Hdd's Big sheet along the bottom of the two chopped down drive bay mouts to make a clean look. Then two rectangles perpendicular to this base for the mounting, depending on rigidity I may extend them bits and put a brace on the top. Rad Very simple, 2 strips of 4mm alli with holes in bolted to the rad, simples. Another update I bought a pump and res yesterday so I should get the tomorrow. I can then see how room I will have drive bay wise so I can cut them and get the above drawing built.
