hi guys, I am amedeo, but someone in the world of modding knows me with nik stallo709.
I wanted to share with all bit-tech followers my new project, I hope you will like the theme I choose for my new modding.
The project will be very particular, especially for the type of shape that will have.
I want to build a case with a new shape respecting the ideology of the old school of modding, so every part of the structure will be built and worked by hand.
The materials used mainly for the project in question are aluminum, glass, and wood, and other types of materials that for the moment I will not say, but you'll have the possibility to see as the work will advance.
I always enjoyed designing modding from anything, simple scratches but this time I wonder is my biggest challenge : the coexistence of the many ideas envolved in this project.
I love rock music, the idea of building a new theme case amuses me, I hope You'll be my partners in this new adventure called I LOVE ROCK ...

    " Part one ".

begin this long work with adhesive sheets of A4 paper and a pencil.

When the drawings are complete You'll have to cut the various shape on aluminum and then to finish them with lima.
the front of the case will be for 70% aluminum and 20mm thick of the same material so it will be impossible to bend it !

These flames will be the most important part of the project in order to obtain the overall design of the case.

identical process for the second sheet

    continues...

Partially finished the two aluminum plates with the two flames designs now it's time to start the new two sides sections.

At this stage You need to be very accurate, so I had to build a fold sheets personalized on my needs.
I know, it is not beautiful, but it is doing its job admirably.

insert number one front sheet and halt it arresting with a vise, then let's start gently to give the wished corner fold.

I am very satisfied, as you can see in the picture, corners have a perfect convexity bent 90 degrees.

the first phase of the process came good, so now we can go to the convexity of the lower part.

begin with practicing some cut to better bend the sheet metal inwards.

after using the grinder the overall look seems to be better.

after working with sandpaper its surface, let's start weld ugly cuts that I had practiced to the fold.

we combine the two halves to see how they are

    first test with the leds

the space between the two sheets is right.

without wings and a heart would not be love:D

and with this for now I stop:rock:

Your last project kept me guessing. I bet this one will be interesting too. You are already doing some awesome shaping work.

Constructed in part the lower part of the front, we pass to the construction of a musical instrument ...

fender stratocaster - gibson les paul:confused: difficult decision Surely two excellent products
but given the pointed shape of the guitar body , it will opt for the Fender Stratocaster!
obviously it will not be in life-size, otherwise the PC would be great as a car ...
    We begin the construction.

The guitar will be part of the front bezel

it's time to build the backbone of the cases.
The base will have to support the weight of the whole structure so it will have to be very durable.

at this stage of the process I have to be very precise the two side bases must be accurate to the millimeter.

we can be satisfied it was important to maintain the accuracy at this stage then you'll understand the reason.

these slots will be used for an effect that you will see later...
