I play a few android games here and there and i'd like to be able to play them full screen on my PC, if possible. I don't have any android devices capable of displaying on a seperate screen, so I think emulating android is the only way to go for a full screen experience.

Are there any noteworthy apps people use? THere seems to be a few of these emulators but there are a lot of catches and bugs and such - I simply don't know which, if any, are good.

Bluestacks is the only one that springs to mind.

As I recall two most common ways of doing it are Bluestacks and Andy.

I tried both a while ago. Neither are perfect but on balance I preferred Bluestacks. It works fine but the UI is a bit dodgy and it require a bit of tweaking to remove bloat and such.

I use Android x86 to run KitKat on a real PC. Or you can use VMWare player or workstation to run the VM & fullscreen it.
