I'm looking to upgrade my key chain flash drive. I love the size of the drive, it's small, convenient and durable. It is just a little too slow. Today I was copying a video file to it and it started around 8mb/s transfer speed and dropped down to around 3mb/s transfer speed. I'm looking for a cheap alternative, ideally around with around 30-50MBps and 16-32GB.

The smaller the drive, the worse they seem to perform generally. As far as small flash drives the best I have is the Patriot Tab.
The Patriot Tab looks like a good choice. I know I will loose the cap with the SanDisk Cruzer Ultra Fit
